Connie Del Signore
After serving as director of two other conference and visitor bureaus in her 20 year career in the industry, Connie moved to Annapolis in 2003 to accept the position of President & CEO of the AAACCVB. She immediately advanced the professionalism of the CVB resulting in an increase in tourism’s economic impact to the community. In December 2007 Connie began serving a 2 year term as Chairman of the Maryland Association of Destination Marketing Organizations. She was appointed by Governor O’Malley in October 2007, to serve a 2-year term on the Md. Tourism Development Board.and was re-appointed to a 3 year term in 2009. |
Susan Steckman
Vice President, Communications, Susan Steckman, brings 20 years of public relations and marketing experience to the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau (AAACCVB). After graduating from West Chester State College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, the Pennsylvania native started her career in broadcasting as news director at radio stations in Delaware and Maryland. |
Bill Adams
Bill Adams brings more than 12 years of travel and tourism sales experience to the AAACCVB. Prior to joining our team in February 2009, he served for seven years as Senior Sales Manager at the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC. In that capacity, he helped to promote the destination through cooperative ventures with hotels, conference and visitors bureaus, tour operators, transportation companies, and restaurants. He began his career as Group Sales Manager at the newly opened Newseum in Arlington, Virginia. |
Catalina Burke
Ms. Burke joined the CVB team as Director of Marketing in February 2008. Before coming to the CVB, she worked as a marketing and communications specialist for a national trade association in Washington, DC developing extensive knowledge and experience in communication, PR, marketing, exhibit management, and print and web design and content development. |
Clare Mardall
Clare Mardall first experienced Annapolis in the 1970’s through her family’s sailing adventures out of Eastport. After attending the University of Maryland, where she earned a BA in Spanish Literature with a minor in Economics, she returned to Annapolis, moved to Eastport and worked in the historic heart of the city. |
Jo Ellyn McNees
Sales Director, JoEllyn McNees brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience to the AAACVB. Jo moved from the Pittsburgh area to Annapolis five years ago and immediately appreciated all the amenities that the historic, mariner city of Annapolis has to offer, finding Annapolis to be accommodating and unforgettable. Susan Parker
Manager of Community Partnerships, Susan Parker, brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience to the CVB. Her passion for planning meetings and special events began when she served as a meeting coordinator at the historic five-diamond, five-star Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Since joining the ranks CVB in July 2009, Susan has been cultivating new members and encouraging existing partners to take full advantage of their CVB membership by participating in projects and promotions designed to enhance their visibility and boost their bottom line. |
