Parking around Annapolis

 

Tune in to 1620 AM as you approach Annapolis for any special event parking information.

We suggest that you park your car in one our parking garages, as we’d hate to send you home with a parking ticket — a souvenir you certainly don’t want!
 

Parking at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium:

The Stadium is located off Rowe Boulevard between Farragut Road and Taylor Avenue, please use the Taylor Avenue entrance. Current fees are $5.00 all day parking. You can then take a Circulator bus downtown. If you park at the stadium, the bus stop is outside of the Central Business District and the fare is a regular $1.50. Parking in the Garages:

There are many parking options available to visitors in the City of Annapolis. In July 2011, the City began the Circulator bus route which provides a shuttle service that quickly and efficiently moves individuals from the City’s four parking garages (Hillman, Gott’s, Knighton and Park Place) around the Central Business District, allowing visitors to enjoy the shops, the historic charm, the maritime attractions, the arts, theatre and so much more.

Covered parking is available in Park Place and Knighton garages for $5 a day, Gott’s Court for $12 a day or Hillman for $16 per day. Note: Prices subject to change due to special events or other reasons. For the most up-to-date parking information, please visit the City of Annapolis' website.

The Gotts Court Garage off of Calvert or Northwest St. is adjacent to the Visitors Center. Offers Park & Shop Discount.*  410-263-9749.

The Hillman Garage off of Main St. is closer to the City Dock but fills quickly. Offers Park & Shop Discount*. 410-267-8914.

The Knighton Garage is located off West St. at Colonial Drive, a five minute walk from the Visitors Center. Offers Park & Shop Discount*. Free Navy Blue Shuttle stops very close. Prices subject to change. 410-263-7170.

Park Place Garage is located off West Street at Park Place on Westgate Circle and is a 10-minute walk from the Visitors Center.

The State Garage is off Rowe Boulevard at Calvert Street. Parking is free after 6:00pm weekdays and all day Saturdays and Sundays. Visitor parking is not allowed at other times. Availability subject to change.

*Park n’ Shop Discount- Up to 2 hours of free parking when dining or shopping at a Park & Shop Member Business. Remember to take your parking receipt with you and shop or dine where you see the Park & Shop logo.

Parking for Recreational Vehicles:

RVs must park at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. $10.00 per day. No overnight parking at the Stadium lot. Please call the Visitors Center, 410-280-0445, for campground suggestions.

Parking Meters:

Parking meter hours are 10am to 7:30pm seven days a week. Meter rates are $1.00 per hour for a maximum of two hours. Vehicles must be moved after two hours of parking. Re-feeding the meters is not permitted.

Parking in Residential Areas:

The time limit in residential parking districts is two hours, and you must move your car when that time has passed. There is absolutely no parking at red curbs. Please do not park at a posted handicapped spot- that space is for the resident of that home and shows a permit number.

Handicapped Parking:

Cars with handicapped license plates or with a current hang tag may park at our meters for twice the allowed time at no charge. If you wish to remain at the spot, you must pay the meter rate and stay only the allotted time. Handicapped licensed cars may also park in our residential district for four hours.
