Located on Primrose Road at Spa Creek.
This facility is open year round. Limited vehicle and boat trailer parking is available on site. Restrooms are available for use.
There is a $5 fee for city residents, $10 for Anne Arundel County residents, and $15 for nonresidents; seasonal boat launch permits are available, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Seasonal permits are available for $20 for city residents, $40 for Anne Arundel County residents and $60 for nonresidents. Seasonal permits are available at the Recreation Dept. office, 9 St.Mary's Street. Boat registration proof is required.

The marina facility includes 22 launching ramps. Six finger piers are available for day use on a first-come, first-served basis. The Marina Store offers bait, tackle, fuel and fishing and crabbing licenses, snacks and drinks, and limited picnic supplies. Rowboats and motorboats are available for rent in late spring, summer and early fall. Call the Sandy Point Marina for availability and prices at (410) 974-2772. The marina pumpout is available April through October. Closing of the pumpout station in the fall is contingent upon the weather. After the end of September, please call our headquarters office at (410) 974-2149 to check availability.
 

Cartop Boat Launches

Anne Arundel County’s Department of Recreation and Parks has a website, www.aacounty.org/RecParks/launch, information pertaining to its Cartop Boat Launch program. Included within this site you will find information such as locations, number of parking spaces, permit information, hours of operations, contact phone numbers, fees, park amenities and more.
