CVB Hires New Director of Sales

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND – The Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau (AAACCVB) is pleased to announce the addition of Bill Adams to its team of tourism professionals. Bill took over leadership of the AAACCVB Sales Department in February. 

The new Director of Sales brings more than 12 years of travel and tourism sales experience to the AAACCVB. Prior to joining the AAACCVB, he served for seven years as Senior Sales Manager at the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC. In that capacity, he helped to promote the destination through cooperative ventures with hotels, conference and visitors bureaus, tour operators, transportation companies, and restaurants. He began his career as Group Sales Manager at the Newseum in Arlington, Virginia.

Bill is putting his leadership skills to work for the AAACCVB by forging strong partnerships with Destination DC and area destination marketing organizations. In addition to charting the course for the Sales Department, Bill’s primary responsibilities include developing aggressive strategies for achieving targeted growth in overnight group and conference travel to Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. A native of Landover Hills, Maryland, Bill graduated from Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia with a double major in Marketing and Management. He and his family reside in Bowie, Maryland.
