About Fado Irish Pub & Restaurant
About Fadó Irish Pub – The Evolution of Food, Drink, Banter Fadó (pronounced f’doe) is an Irish term meaning ‘long ago’. The Irish use it to start a story (the equivalent of ‘once upon a time’ ). We chose the name because at Fadó, we are telling the story of Ireland’s evolving Pub culture. You have always gotten great Guinness, Fish and Chips and fun in the best pubs in Dublin. Today, you will also see from-scratch cooking and seasonal food menus, craft beers from local breweries and quality, housemade cocktails. The Irish Pub in Ireland has evolved and we have evolved with them. Irish owned, we opened in Annapolis in 2007. Our’s is an Irish pub where the food is as important as the drink with all the items made fresh in house. You will see our food menu change seasonally and adapt to make sure Fadó is a quality option whether you are just snacking or going out for a full meal. You won’t get a better pint of draught beer (including many local and regional crafts) in town due to our comprehensive quality program (we call it ‘From Gas to Glass’) and we feature a list of high quality wines and ever changing seasonal cocktails. There’s always a good amount going on at the pub. Each week we feature live bands, DJ’s and events like Pub Quiz Team Trivia and sports. During the season, you’ll see the English Premier League and other major European leagues, Champions League, and the World Cup. Of course, we support US Soccer and all the major rugby competitions and American sports.
