The Washington Bayhawks, a prefessional Lacrosse team, plays their  home games in Annapolis at the United States Navy-Marine Corps Stadium.

The second annual ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon & 10K race, a signature health & fitness event showcasing the city of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County takes place on Sunday, May 31, 2009. Experience Annapolis Weekend -Friday June 12 to Sunday June 14, 2009 

Potomac Pedalers Touring Club (PPTC) in partnership with the local cycling community, Capital Bicycle, City of Annapolis and Wholeness for Humanity is hosting “Experience Annapolis Weekend”.  The event consists of city tours, boat tours, walking tours, cycling eco tours and a reception with Mayor Ellen Moyer.
