Lining up Annapolis Events and Festivals to enjoy this week? Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
- It's Commissioning Week in Annapolis! On Monday, May 20, don't miss the Herndon Climb at 1:30 p.m. and the Men's Glee Club Concert at 8:00 p.m. On Tuesday, check out the U.S. Marine Corps Battle Color Detachment Performance at 1:00 p.m. and the Women's Glee Club Concert at 8:00 p.m. On Wednesday, catch the Music Festival featuring the Electric Brigade and Crabtowne Stompers at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday, at 11:00 a.m. head to Warden Field for a Color Parade at 11:00 a.m. On Friday at 10:00 a.m., the Class of 2013 graduates. This is a ticketed event.
- Grab a chair and head to Annapolis's Historic District for an all-American Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 27, at 10:00 a.m. The parade route begins at Amos Garrett Blvd., heads down West Street, around Church Circle, and down Main Street. Make it easy on yourself and head to the parade route via the free City Circulator.
- If you like art, head to the Maryland Federation of Art for its Spring Member Show that wraps up on Sunday, May 26. It's a juried exhibition featuring the artwork of MFA members in a variety of media.
