A celebration of the unique attractions found in Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, the Wonder of the Chesapeake Video Contest (Contest) begins on September 8, 2009 and ends on November 30, 2009. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
Contest entrants agree to release the Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitors Bureau and its affiliates and promotion agencies from any and all liability related to any losses or damages of any kind caused by participation in the Contest.
The contest is open to all legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitors Bureau, its affiliates, promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
To enter, eligible persons must:
Video must be no longer than 30 seconds in length. YouTube’s recommended video format is MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio; however, QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, and .MPG are also acceptable.
Only one entry per person is permitted during the contest period. By participating, persons agree to the contest rules, YouTube’s community guidelines, and winner selection.
There will be 2 prizes awarded at the end of the contest: one grand prize package, awarded to the video with the highest ratings and views, and one runner-up prize package, awarded to the video with the second-highest ratings and views. The winners will be notified on December 4, 2009 by email. The winners’ names will also be posted to the Contest Rules page on December 8, 2009.
Prizes are non-transferable and non-saleable. All taxes, license, title, and other fees are the responsibility of the winners. The decision of the Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitors Bureau is final and binding. Except where prohibited by law, the winners grant permission to his/her name, photograph, and any statements to the Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitors Bureau, its affiliates, and promotion agencies in any and all media without further compensation.
