Organizers of the Eastport Yacht Club Lights Parade might find themselves with a bigger viewing crowd this year. Per CBS TV, the 34th annual event will receive a plug in a segment about holiday celebrations that’s slated to air on CBS TV nationwide tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
A CBS associate producer contacted Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (VAAAC) yesterday afternoon requesting video footage and stills of the Lights Parade. VAAAC reached out to Eastport Yacht Club representatives and City of Annapolis TV, both of whom forwarded video footage for consideration. VAAAC also provided stills of the Eastport Yacht Club Lights Parade that were shot by local photographer Robert Peterson. VAAAC received word from CBS today that the Lights Parade made the cut.
