Finding enjoyable activities for your kids, your spouse, and your friends can take you all over town! Skip the headaches, GPS malfunctions, and parking by staying local with Historic London Town and Gardens. Here are three educational and flat out fun activities going on in March at London Town:
Homeschool: People of London Town

Kids these days grow up with the world at their fingertips. It's easy to forget the value of elbow grease when apps and Ubers are so prevalent. Ever wonder what your kids would be doing if they were born, say, 200 years earlier? Find out at Homeschool: People of London Town. Take an educational excursion to learn about daily life in early Maryland with an apprenticeship as a carpenter, tavern keeper, or a rope-maker. Oh, and feel free to wear your traditional colonial attire!
Fee for participating children $8 for members | $10 for non-members. Free for accompanying adults. Wednesday, March, 13: 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Cellars & Seedlings: Tavern Gambols at the William Brown House

Dinner, games, and a great cause? Enjoy an intimate dinner at the William Brown House. This wine and dine experience is part of a series aimed to raise funds for preserving and operating London Town and its gardens. Dinner consists of beer, wine, and a buffet selection provided by Zeffert & Gold. Before dinner enjoy lighthearted, colonial-era games such as Nine Men’s Morris, Shut the Box, and Fox and Geese.
$150 per person | $80 tax deductible. Limited to 18 people. Friday, March, 15: 6:00-8:00 pm
