Maryland Renaissance Festival

The Maryland Renaissance Festival welcomes visitors to immerse themselves in a recreated 16th century English village. Located at 1821 Crownsville Road in Annapolis, the festival and its village are situated on twenty-five acres of woodland with 85 additional aces set aside for free parking. Take a day to wander through 16th century England while experiencing jesters, jousters, knights, live music, and activities. Hailed as the region's premier outdoor event and the second largest Renaissance Festival in the country with over 280,000 visitors a season, you'll discover a new world full of family-fun, entertainment, food, and more at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

Maryland Seafood Festival

Annapolis this September

Mark your calendars on September 8th & 9th for the 51st Annual Maryland Seafood Festival! Join the celebration of over 50 years of food and fun at Sandy Point State Park with a weekend full of delicious seafood dishes, interactive cooking demonstrations,  exciting competitions, kids activities and more!

While you sample all of the tasty offerings, enjoy all of the maritime-related exhibits, contests, and activities. The Maryland Seafood Festival also hosts loads of local shopping and vendor options, a fantastic beverage selection with lots of local craft beer and wine, and tons of kids activities, all hosted along the beautiful shores of the scenic Chesapeake Bay.

Anne Arundel County Fair

Experience the ‘good old days’ all over again at the 66th annual Anne Arundel County Fair from September 12th through September 16th. Learn secrets of the trade from 4H Club members. Master the art of hog calling. Cheer on your favorite sow in the pig races. From camel rides, amusement rides and interactive car racing, to homemade wines, home-brewed beers and wood carving demonstrations, the Anne Arundel County Fair is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to celebrate the county’s rich agricultural heritage.

Amps & Ales FestivalAnnapolis this September

Amps and Ales is back with the premier collaboration of Music, Beer, Wine and Spirits in Maryland. The event will be held on Saturday September 15th, 2018 at the Arundel Mills Mall Cinemark parking lot in Hanover, Maryland. Presented by Live! Casino & Hotel.

For its 2nd year, Amps and Ales has lined up over 20 highly acclaimed breweries offering over 40 beers on tap and - New to 2018 - a WINE Garden, providing the best variety of wines available; draft cocktails for sale; and Food Trucks such as Mother Shucker’s Seafood P.N.B., Tiny Brick Oven, Baltimore Crab Cake Company, Anegada Delights, and others!

14th Annual Boatyard Beach Bash

Boatyard Beach Bash

The Annapolis Maritime Museum is hosting the 14th Annual Boatyard Beach Bash on Saturday, September 15th, 2018, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Museum’s waterfront property in Eastport. This year’s event will transport you straight to Key West. Coral Reefers Roger Bartlett, Eric Darken, Doyle Grisham, Peter Mayer, Keith Sykes, and Brendan Mayer, along with Scott Kirby, The John Frinzi Band, & Aaron Scherz will be performing. This diverse collection of talented musicians provides rare access to Jimmy Buffett’s band in an intimate setting with the incomparable backdrop of the Chesapeake Bay. Host J.D. Spradlin from Radio Margaritaville will keep the party going. General admission tickets are $85 and include a grilled buffet dinner provided by founding sponsor, Boatyard Bar & Grill, two drink vouchers and—of course—a fantastic concert! 4th Annual Annapolis Italian Festival

Annapolis this September

Come enjoy the 4th Annual Annapolis Italian Festival on September 30th in honor of the patron saint of Italian immigrants, Mother Cabrini. Delicious Italian foods like pasta, calamari, and sub-sandwiches as well as homemade desserts like cannoli and zeppole will be offered.  Live mozzarella and limoncello demonstrations will be shown. Continuous music, face painting and vendors of Italian cars, novelties, photos and apparel will also be available.

The Sons of Italy is a nonprofit, fraternal organization whose proceeds support local charities and scholarship funds.
