I had the pleasure of stopping by the Annapolis Maritime Museum to learn about the rich maritime history this building boasts. Housed in what was historically known as the last oyster-packing plant in Annapolis, the Annapolis Maritime Museum is a small museum located on the shores of Back Creek of the Annapolis neighborhood of Eastport. The museum engages visitors in an interactive experience that highlights the oyster, the watermen who collect them, and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay.

The Museum also offers many educational programs for school-aged children and special events, such as camps, summer concerts, field trips, community events, and lecture series.
