Annapolis Town Center is one of many local businesses this year that has shown it knows how to pivot. The shopping center known as much for its fun events as it is known for its shopping and dining, has found many creative ways to keep us entertained with outdoor, socially distanced events worth leaving the house for. With Fall weather officially here, their schedule is still heating up and we are falling for their Fall line up!

Vinyls & Vino in the Garden

In commitment to safe outdoor events, the Town Center spent the summer revitalizing open air spaces activating three new spaces for gathering including The Green, The Patio, and The Garden. On Thursday nights, The Garden transforms into “Vinyls and Vino” with tunes spun by DJ Crawdads and wine cocktails, graze boxes and sweet boxes by Vintage Views Wandering Bar. A quick scroll through Vintage Views’ instagram feed will have you wanting to show up wherever they are. Graze on charcuterie and sip wine under string lights? Yes, please!

All seating and tables are socially distant. Guests must be 21 to enter and masks are required upon arrival until you are seated.

Outdoor Sketch Nights with ArtFarm Studios

The Town Center has relied on another key tenant to success: partnership. A new creative partnership with local business ArtFarm Studios has led to Outdoor Sketch Nights. These evenings feature a live model drawing session, paired with the perfect music to inspire guests’ inner creative. Bring your own supplies or purchase some from ArtFarm when you arrive.

No experience is required to enjoy a Sketch Night; come prepared to let loose and have fun. Artists can also take a short walk to enjoy the newest mural addition to the Town Center, The Great Egret created by Annapolis artist Jahru.

Social distancing and CDC guidelines are followed during this event. All ages are welcome but recommended for ages 13-adult.

Upcoming Date: Wednesday, October 14 (more dates may be added)

Fright Nights

New for Halloween, Fright Nights is a spooky drive-through Haunted House event that features a safe caravan through a fog-filled path that leads to an interactive Haunted Alleyway Experience. The ghoulish cruise ends at a drive-in movie lot for a thrilling featured film. A total of six movies will be shown across the five Fright Nights evenings, providing an even balance of family-friendly and adults-only nights. Experience a mix of classics and newer favorites like: The Ring, US, Hocus Pocus, Hotel Transylvania, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.

The fun includes complimentary concessions and pre-filled trick-or-treat bags for kids. Here’s to hoping the revived drive-in trend lasts well beyond these social distanced days!

Upcoming Dates: October 23, 24, 29, 30, 31
