Welcome to the inaugural Boat Maryland Week! This 10-day celebration highlights the beginning of Maryland’s boating season and the state’s deeply-rooted ties to maritime history. From April 26 – May 5, 2019, visitors can enjoy everything from events and festivals, to the latest in boating equipment to maritime art, celebrate the opening of boating season, the maritime heritage of our great state, and the historic waters of the Chesapeake Bay during the first-ever Boat Maryland Week.

Celebrate Boating in Maryland

Be sure to enjoy all the boating-themed events during Boat Maryland Week. Experience one of the world’s biggest in-water sailboat shows at the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show to browse the latets in navigational equipment, gear, and boats. Stroll through the Annapolis Arts District for the monthly First Sunday Arts Festival. Catch the Annapolis NOOD Regatta, or hop on a sailing cruise for a day. It's all about getting on the water!

Kick Off Party - April 26

Welcome the start of boating season by joining the first ever Boat Maryland Week Kick-Off Party on Friday, April 26 at Annapolis City Dock. Head over to Latitude 38 (12 Dock Street, Annapolis, MD) from 6 pm to 10 pm to celebrate the season with a live performance by the local Eastport Oyster Boys and a full cash bar. The Kick-Off is open to all boat lovers free of charge.

Maryland’s maritime industry, with boat building, recreational marinas and working boat yards, has played a pivotal role in the state's economy and historic character. Be sure to visit one of the maritime-themed art galleries and museums during Boat Maryland Week to get the most out of the start to boating season.
