Glen Burnie

Glen Burnie is located in northern Anne Arundel County and is considered a suburb of Baltimore. It is less than a 2-mile drive to BWI airport, a 20-mile trip to Annapolis, and only about 11 miles to Baltimore city center.

Glen Burnie is a great destination for a stay-and-play hotel package to allow you to see lots of the surrounding attractions, while staying at an affordable price.

One of Glen Burnie’s claims to fame is that it was home to Harundale Mall, which opened in 1958 as one of America’s first enclosed shopping centers, newly being dubbed as “malls.”

Favorite events in the area also include the Glen Burnie Carnival, an event held every summer since 1908, and Fourth of July celebrations, including a parade and fireworks show.
