Donnisha Grant, M.Ed., MSIHM, CHE
Director of Hotel, Culinary, Arts and Tourism Institute at Anne Arundel County Community College
Donnisha Grant serves as a member of the Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Foundation Board of Trustees and is the director of the Hotel, Culinary Arts, and Tourism Institute at Anne Arundel Community College. In her current role, she is dedicated to inspiring and expanding the minds of students pursuing careers in culinary arts, pastry arts, and hospitality management. With a decade of teaching experience, Donnisha began her career as an adjunct instructor at Morgan State University and Howard County Community College. She then transitioned to full-time roles at Stratford University and Anne Arundel Community College, where she excelled as an instructional specialist. Her versatility allows her to seamlessly shift from teaching hospitality management to leading culinary labs. Donnisha brings over 12 years of industry experience to her academic roles. She started her career in hospitality as a certified front office trainer for Marriott Inner Harbor Baltimore and has held various leadership positions, including director of food and beverage for Flik at Freddie Mac, food and beverage manager at Coppin State University, Goucher College, and the University of Maryland, and assistant director for HCAT at AACC. As a certified hospitality educator, Donnisha has taught leadership and hospitality courses at all levels. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as the educational liaison for the Maryland Hotel and Lodging Association and as an educational content reviewer for the American Council on Education.
