The Village at Waugh Chapel is home to many great places to eat, shop, and play. But if it’s beer you’re after, Frisco Tap House — located at 2406 Brandermill Blvd in Gambrills, on the edge of Crofton—is the clear choice.

Inside, however, choosing is not quite so easy. Behind a long bar, over one hundred taps wait patiently for you to make your first selection. What style do you fancy at the moment? IPA? Imperial stout? Cask? Sour? Nitro? Brown ale? With a selection like this, any whim or preference can find satisfaction in one (or more likely, five to ten!) of their drafts. Large monitors on the walls and a tablet on the bar display a color-coded list of Frisco’s award-winning draft beer selection to aid in the decision.

The beers are in constant rotation, but you can always find the dwindling kegs listed in red and the newly tapped ones listed in green. On Tuesday nights when a fresh batch of brews comes in, Frisco throws a Pint Night for their customers to celebrate tapping the kegs. Find a calendar of Pint Nights and other fun Frisco events here.

Once the first tortured beer choice is made, you’ll have a chance to look at their food menu. Pick from six, seven, and eight-dollar happy hour food specials, like savory parmesan truffle fries, a crispy chicken tender basket with Frisco’s delicious spicy BBQ shark sauce, or sweet & saucy pulled pork sliders piled high with tender meat and crunchy slaw. With tasty, filling appetizers at a good price, it’s lucky happy hour at Frisco starts at 2 pm—early enough to catch a late lunch!

Monday through Friday from 2 pm until 6 pm, get $1 off craft beers, domestic bottles, and flights, $2 off well drinks, fruit crushes, and house mules, and $3 off wine by the glass. Aside from happy hour, Frisco has specials throughout the week. Join them on Mondays for Prime Rib Night, Thursdays for Reckless Ramen and Beer Flight Night, and both nights for NFL specials. Enjoy Pint Night on Tuesdays, half-priced bottles of craft beer and wine on Wednesdays (during happy hour, too!), and trivia from 7 pm to 10 pm on Sundays.

Interested in tasting a variety of beers at a great price? Consider becoming a member of Frisco’s Mug Club. Drink different beers, get your bartender to sign off on the beers you’ve tried, and win prizes when you hit club milestones. Additionally, members receive half off drafts from 7 pm to 10 pm on Mondays during their Mug Club Appreciation Night.
