Search our site – for “Annapolis bars” and you’re guaranteed to get tons of results. Try “Anne Arundel County arcades” and you’ll see those too. But one of the newest places to have fun in the area, GameOn Bar + Arcade, is both.

Located in a 110-plus-year-old brick beauty in downtown Annapolis, next to the Graduate Hotel, GameOn offers games, drinks, and eats – all in one awesome setting.

The coin-operated games run the gamut far from your average arcade, from action-oriented to vintage video and everything in between – including my favorite, Feed Bertha.

The food and beverage are equally diverse, with the menu at “Brix’s Food Truck” (named after owners Eli and Casey Linthicum’s son) offering “upscale comfort food,” from Frito pies to gourmet pop tarts, and the bar featuring beer and wine, alcohol-infused slushies, and shareable-sized cocktails.

And while there’s a large cobblestone patio out back that offers various events, such as outdoor movie nights, you’ll quickly miss looking at the awesome hand-painted wall art and participating in, or just watching, the non-stop action inside.

GameOn is located at 114 West Street and is open daily, with accompanied minors permitted until 8:00 PM.
