The company quickly took off, and "Birds" became the most popular mode of transportation in urban areas. Recently, Annapolis partnered with Bird to introduce a sustainable way to promote an efficient and fun ride. Need a helmet? Bird will ship you one free from the safety tab on the app!

Riders can use Bird's smartphone application to access the scooters and bikes on Main Street and West Street. Users scan a QR code on each vehicle to unlock it and start riding.
