Jill Porter

Jill Porter serves as the Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Board of Directors chair and is VAAAC’s Anne Arundel County Government representative. She is a business development director at the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation where she focuses on supporting the Cyber, Tech, Defense, Maritime and Hospitality industries through various programs, financing, and collaborative efforts, working closely with the Maryland Department of Commerce to boost the state’s economy. Before her current role, Jill had a successful 23-year career in hospitality, leading operations, sales, and marketing for independent properties. She is actively involved with several regional organizations, including The BWI Business Partnership, Fort Meade Alliance, and the Central Maryland Chamber of Commerce, as well as various tech, workforce development, and educational committees and is an ex-officio/liaison for the Anne Arundel County Maritime Industry Advisory Board.
