Board of Directors Call for Nominations 2026


Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Board of Directors is now accepting nominations for service, with submissions due by May 15. This is an important opportunity for leaders in tourism, hospitality, and the sectors that directly support the visitor economy to help guide the future of our destination. 

The Board plays a central role in shaping the governance and management of tourism in Anne Arundel County. Its decisions influence how our destination welcomes travelers, supports small businesses, strengthens placemaking, and contributes to the quality of life for residents across our communities. As Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County continues to experience organizational growth, this is a pivotal moment to bring forward leaders with deep, first‑hand industry experience who understand the opportunities and challenges facing the industry and destination. With major events drawing increased international travel and rising interest in domestic exploration, our destination is entering a period of exceptional opportunity. Strong, informed leadership will be essential to guiding tourism’s impact and ensuring that Annapolis and Anne Arundel County continue to thrive. 

Partners are encouraged to self‑nominate or recommend individuals ready to contribute their expertise and vision. Directors serve a two‑year term and may be reappointed for two additional terms.  

Interested nominees should submit a letter of interest and resume to the Nominating Committee at BODnominations@visitannapolis.org for best consideration.
