Tour the Maryland State House, the grounds of the United States Naval Academy and the city's historic district on a signature Four Centuries Walking Tour. With origins dating back to the 1970s, Annapolis Tours by Watermark's Colonial guides keep U.S. and Annapolis history alive and have been sharing their passion for history and folklore to adults, students, and groups of all types for decades. Specialty tours include Historic Ghost Walk and a Holiday Candlelight Stroll. Walking tours are offered year-round. Walk-ups always welcome. Private and group tours available.

Step aboard Miss Anne, the intimate vessel that will lead you around the haunted waterways of Annapolis with your attired Ghost Guide entertaining you with stories of nautical myths and pirate tales. After your cruise, brave the Historic District by foot and continue with your guide towards St. Anne’s Cemetery. A variety of alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase during the cruise portion of the evening.

During the month of October, Annapolis Tours by Watermark offers special ghost tours enhanced with an exclusive visit to the historic, dimly lit Hammond Harwood House garden. You will be led by our spirited guide through the dark and narrow streets of this old and creaky town. Hear of real diary entries and newspaper articles of what frightened early 18th century folks and how they utilized the moon and candles. Stopping at spooky spots, stories of the dead will be shiveringly shared. Meet at the Compass Rose benches next to the Market House every Thursday at 7:30pm and every Friday & Saturday at 8:00pm in October.
