Visitor Center Volunteer Opportunities

 

Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (VAAAC) is looking for a few good volunteers. If you like meeting people and sharing your knowledge about Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay, we have the perfect job for you! Our Volunteer Information Specialists assist vacationers, business travelers, and area residents who stop by our 26 West Street Visitors Center and our seasonal satellite information booth at City Dock. Serving as front line ambassadors, our friendly volunteers provide visitors with materials, insights, and the lay of the land they need to make the best use of their time with us.

Serving as frontline ambassadors, our friendly volunteers provide visitors with materials, insights, and the lay of the land they need to make the best use of their time with us.

Program Requirements:

  • Volunteer opportunities are available to individuals 21 years of age and older.
  • A desire to have fun talking with and helping people
  • Willingness to promote Annapolis and Anne Arundel County as a tourist destination
  • Commitment to serve a four-hour shift at least three times per month. Shifts typically begin at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We especially need weekend volunteers.
