The Great Annapolis Pumpkins

 

Come to Downtown Annapolis on the night of October 27th and watch local artists carve the pumpkins into giant jack-o-lanterns!

You never know when these 1,000-pound pumpkins will pop up in downtown Annapolis, but they are hard to miss once they do! Presented by the Downtown Annapolis Partnership, the Annapolis Arts District, and co-sponsored by Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, these gigantic gourds make for the perfect fall photo-op.

The Great Carving

Artists have been selected to carve the Great Annapolis Pumpkins. This year's carvers include Angelito Baban, Eric Baisas, Charles Lawerance, owner of FinArt Gallery, Christopher Pagent, Aaron "Skribe" Yealdhall, and a team of artists from Gallery 57 West. The Great Annapolis Pumpkins will be carved on Friday, October 27th. 

Come to downtown Annapolis and enjoy a ghost tour, dinner, and the new Annapolis Night Market while the pumpkins transform into Giant Jack-O-Lanterns!

 

Stay

Extend your stay in Annapolis for a weekend of fall festivals and Halloween fun! Visit the nearby Maryland Avenue & State Circle Fall Festival on October 22nd, or venture into the county for a hay ride and a pumpkin patch at a local farm. Get lost in the corn maze at the Maryland Corn Maze in Gambrills, or book a haunted ghost tour or pub crawl in the heart of historic Annapolis.
