What is Anne Arundel County Arts Month?

Anne Arundel County is home to a vibrant arts community. The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County has teamed up with AND Creative Studios, Chesapeake Arts Center, and Arts Lab of South County to create a month-long celebration of art called Anne Arundel Arts Month.

This festival brings the community together around a broad and diverse local arts scene. During June, we invite all to engage and interact with the arts through elevated community-led events. Performances, workshops, exhibits and more will showcase the importance of a thriving arts community. The arts bring joy, build community, and generate economic value for our county and state.

  Plein air artists take to the streets, waterfront, and historic corners of Annapolis.
• 🛍️ First Sunday Arts Festival | June 7
  Local artists, makers, performers, and open-air creative energy in downtown Annapolis.

  Live music, local art, and interactive art activities at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds.

  Gallery exhibits, performances, public art, and hands-on workshops across Annapolis.
• ✈️ Sounds of Maryland Live at BWI | June 8–26
  Local musicians bring live performances to BWI Airport’s Legacy Gallery.
