Visit Annapolis and Anne Arundel County (VAAAC) is a nonprofit, membership-based Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) that generates revenues for the local economy by promoting Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay to leisure and business travelers across the country and around the world. As the county DMO, we execute strategic marketing and sales campaigns that position our portfolio of brands to key markets encouraging first-time as well as repeat visitation to the county. Our strategy combines multi-channel advertising, inbound marketing campaigns, direct sales initiatives, and continued media relationship nurturing.

Who We Serve
As a membership organization our goal is to promote the county as an ideal tourism destination, thereby support the thousands of businesses that provide services to leisure and business travelers. By collaborating with state agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, we are able to properly promote all the tourism opportunities in the county.
As the county DMO, we are fortunate to possess a range of diverse tourism offerings. In order to properly promote the county attractions, we created distinct brands aligned with specific markets (leisure, weddings, meetings, sporting events). We manage each brand with specific advertising campaigns and marketing strategies.
